Over the last weekend – Lions from around Australia have gathered on the Gold Coast to celebrate the 71st Annual 201 MD Convention.
By all accounts, Lions from around our great nation have celebrated in style with a jam packed weekend showcasing what we as Lions do…and can do!

Congratulations to the Cohuna Leos on their award – National winner Alpha Leo Club -Project if the Year. Accepted by Lion Lee Walkington on behalf of the Leo club.
Congratulations to Past District Governor David Lowing for being added to the Australian Lions Foundation Hall of Fame
Congratulations to PDG Peter Poels who was awarded the International President Award for his work for LCIF as Chairperson in 2021/22.
Another highlight of the convention was our very own PCC David Skinner dancing with Australian soprano Mirusia Louwerse.
